Counterfeit Madison is Nigerian-American rock pianist and singer Sharon Udoh, along with bassist Adam Hardy and drummer Seth Daily.

Their newest album, Opposable Thumbs, was released on Anyway Records in November 2017 to favorable reviews, and is available via Revolver USA/midheaven.com.

The band has performed at a sold out Nina Simone Tribute entitled Counterfeit Madison Meets Nina Simone: A Celebration Of Blackness (August 2016).

They also played Nelsonville Music Festival (2017, 2018), the Wexner Center for the Arts (vinyl release, November 2017), Daytrotter (April 2018), and Mission Creek Festival (April 2018), and have shared stages with Half Waif, Busman’s Holiday, Mal Blum, Diet Cig, Japanese Breakfast, Frankie Cosmos, and Tune-Yards.
